My mother-in-law fell in the shower while in vacation in Florida and broke her upper leg. She had emergency surgery where the doctors put a plate and pins in. There is no cast due to location of break. She is now in a rehab center. We are praying for a quick recovery but also for her depression that had now set in. She is very discouraged and depressed that rehab is not going as well as hoped. Right now we are unsure how long she will be there. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Please pray for me. I am dealing with a lot of grief and depression. My sister's father-in-law, Terry, a Vietnam vet, died in June 2011, my lovely mom died in January of 2012 of ovarian cancer, another friend, Ted, died in April 2012, I got fired from my job March 26th, 2012, and I don't have another job, my great and lovely friend Kim died on December 20th 2012, my dad died January 2013, a man I had met, Richard, died, and my best friend Monique's mom, Blanca, died of cancer recently. Please pray for Monique and her family as well.

Please pray for peace, meaning, and God's wisdom in my life. I do not know what God wants me to do next. I feel so very, very, lonely every day. I am not dating a Christian woman, I do not have a girlfriend, I have never been married, and I do not have kids of my own. Also, please pray that i will be dating a Christian woman, and that I will find a church with an active singles ministry. My friend that has a serious addiction is in jail right now, and that friend is so smart, that if God reveals Himself to him, I think he would become a Christian and be able to accept Christ. He has such an influence on a wide group of people; he could do big things for the Lord! Please pray for God to reveal himself to Ryan's friend while he's in jail and detoxing!

Please pray for the approval of the change of my job description which will result in the change of my title and a salary increase. Pray that my immediate supervisor and boss of the department will agree on it.

Pray for me as I study for finals at ISU. I'm failing 3 out of 4 classes b/c I've spent the last 4 semesters in the wrong major. Changing field of study for next semester and beyond but need to pass these courses. This is second time I've taken biology and doesn't look like I will pass again. I need God's guidance in my life and his help to be successful.

I have an alocholic husband; it's getting harder and harder to deal with. I finally found an Al-anon group to attend. I know that I've failed in believing that there is a higher power greater than myself. I've wanted God to instantly change my husband, more for my own satisfaction than his. But please pray for God to reach my husband before it's to late. It's slowly killing my husband, and he doesn't seem to care. Just last week he was in the hospital due to alochol posioning. He was released last Wednesday. Last night when I got home from my first meeting with Al-non, I found my husband totally intoxicated. I feel there is no hope. Also pray that he will seek out the help he needs. Thanks.

My niece Missey told me last night that her niece, Susan, 10 years old has a very aggressive very rare form of brain cancer. She had a tumor the size of an apricot at the base of her skull about 2 weeks ago. Since then, it has grown large enough that it came out through her skull then weaved itself back in, around her ear canal and back out. It burst her ear drum, she lost the hearing in her left ear, has Bells Palsy, is losing her sight and cannot speak. My heart breaks for all of them. She is hospitalized in St. Louis at Children's. The doctor told Jennifer (Susan's mom) "she needs a miracle"...

Been having constant headaches day and night. My 3 year old is constantly sick with fevers and other illnesses. I really need some prayer. I have my kids that depend on me to be here for them. Thanks in advance everyone=).

I have struggled all my adult life with Crohn's Disease. Right now, I am in a flare up. In the past, the flare ups lasted a few days. I have had the pain for the past week. Last night was really bad. The pain is just making me so tired. Pray that my body can get through this flare up quickly and I can have my energy back in order to better teach the preschool children at my work.

1-Pray my mother is healed of diabetes. 2-Pray my brother is healed of dilated ascending aorta. 3-Pray my father is healed of parkinson's disease and has good mobility. 4-Pray a confidential need of mine is met.

Caroline and Darlene (do not know each other) both have Lung Cancer. Please join my husband and I in praying for them to be healed.

Update on my prayer request asking for God to bless our finances: First of all, thanks, everyone, for praying. It's like the heavens opened up and God rained money down on us. Wow! I am happy to report that we sold a dresser for $75 (the man is picking it up tomorrow) and a bed for $150 (we are delivering it tomorrow). So the total for both those items is $225. Then on Saturday we are selling a bed for $195. And we are helping a neighbor sell a wood stove. We put the price of the stove at $175 and some people called and want to buy it. We usually would not hold things but they love it so much plus they are driving 4 hours to buy it. The total we will get for everything we are selling is $495. This is money we really need to pay bills, buy groceries, and put gas in our vehicle. Praise God! He is awesome and wonderful. He is our Provider...and we are SO thankful.

Steve has had surgery this evening for his femur and hip. They found additional breaks and torn muscle and will operate later. The orthopedic doctor has told him he is looking at 18-24 months to recover but should be able to get around in 4 months. Plastic surgeon has stitched his face.

Thank you for the prayer warriors at WCIC that have prayed for my neice! Please continue to lift up this child of God in prayer. She has also now been diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma, in addition to the hemophagocytic lymphohistocytosis (HLH) and her ongoing battle with the mom virus (EBV). She continues with chemotherapy for three different things and blood transfusions daily. She has no white blood cells at this time, and a bone marrow transplant is a possibility.
