Did you see in the news recently about the man who "announced he was gay" and got so much praise and news coverage plus a personal call from the President? I couldn't believe it. The Bible warns that in the last days, people will call the things God calls evil, "good," and the things God calls good, "evil." Though there are many examples of this twisting of right and wrong found in our world today--including lying and deceiving--other obvious examples include homosexuality, which God and the Bible calls evil . . . but now homosexuality is being presented as "good" (on TV, in movies, and in our schools) . . . yet simply posting the 10 Commandments in a public place, or individual, group, or national prayer, publicly spoken in the name Jesus Christ, which God and the Bible calls good, is being ridiculed and attacked as "evil". Isaiah 5:20 says "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness." We need to pray about these matters! It is super important. Pray my cousin will be saved.

This has become an all-too-common story. My wife and I are living paycheck to paycheck and we're still not able to keep up with the bills. I know that God has us in His hand and it will get better. It is hard to keep the faith sometimes, though, and I fear my wife is losing her faith. I pray for patience while we wait on His solution in His time. I also ask for prayers that my wife's faith will be restored. Thank you.

Patti's Fender Bender: My friend Patti stopped at a garage sale and barely bumped a parked car with hers as she was leaving. Patti has a nice mustang; the other car is a piece of junk. It looks like it has been rolled 5 or 6 times. She is hoping they won't try to make her pay for old dents. She is worried. Would you pray about this? Patti did report the incident to the police and her insurance. Thanks!

Praises: We sell furniture using the internet (craigslist). We are retired, and it helps supplement our income. God has been blessing our socks off. A friend said "If you help me sell a full bed, I'll give you half." So we sold it in one day for $120 plus asked for a $20 delivery fee. That was a quick $60 for us and $60 for our friend. We kept the $20 delivery fee of course. The woman lived approx. 6 miles away so not too far but she lived on the 2nd floor of an apt. and it was very hard to wrangle it up there. We are in our 60s! Older than dirt! Or feel like it sometimes. I could not do much; too weak, bad knees. But the bed buyer helped my husband. Then, at 3 p.m. today (Sat.) we are selling a bed that is gently used but like new for $225. This price includes a frame and delivery to their home. They live about 11 miles from us. Okay here is the good news: we got the bed and frame FREE. A woman was moving and thanked us for taking it off her hands. Praise God. The free beds are like money in the bank. If clean and nice very sellable. Here in Oregon it is okay to sell "used" beds. Not sure how it is in other states. Then we just bought a beautiful bed for $50 that we listed right away for $250 for it's like brand new and super clean. I am pretty sure it will sell. The higher priced beds sometimes take a bit longer to sell. Don't sell in one day. But you just wait. Different clientelle.

Anyway, we have more stories but I already write too much! Just know that we are blessed. We had asked for God's favor and for help with finances. There must be some pretty powerful prayer warriors out there in WCIC land because WOW. Please pray now that our other 2 beds that have not sold yet will sell. The $ will help us pay bills. And sometimes I take a bit of the money we make and "reinvest" it. We dont always find FREE beds. Like the $50 bed we purchased today. It's like money in the bank. So if you are contemplating selling things through this internet sales channel but not sure about it, it is lucrative. Get pics; set the price fair; have a phone number or email; get ready to sell!!!! ~ A Pastor's Wife

My spouse had a lengthy affair several years ago that brought much hardship to our family. He repented and I forgave but I still after all this time have difficulty trusting. The other woman, although mostly removed is still near enough to cause hardship intentional and unintentional. Although I would like to believe I have forgiven her too, I still am easily engaged in negativity towards her when I think how she almost destroyed my family. Protecting our children is my main goal. I don't wish any harm to come to her but wish that a great opportunity could lead her farther away and more out of our lives and that of my spouses. I just want so desperately to feel trust and safe in our relationship. I long for it and most nights cry myself to sleep. My spouse tries, but does not do a very good job and placing a hedge around our marriage. Pray for me and my family and the other woman that we all could move on to a better place since this tragedy that occurred in our lives.

1-Pray my mother is healed of diabetes. 2-Pray my brother is healed of dilated ascending aorta. 3-Pray my father is healed of parkinson's disease and has good mobility. 4-Pray a confidential need of mine is met.

My manager wants a meeting with me on Monday. Don't know what its about. He wants to meet in HR. I am terrified that I might get fired. I am the only breadwinner for this family of 7. Please, please pray that I dont lose my job. God, please help me. Please pray for me and my family. Please.

I am a single mom of two teenagers and pretty much live paycheck to paycheck. Recently, I have had roughly $1,000 in unplanned bills come up. Plus I need brakes for my van and am trying to save money so I can see my son graduate boot camp in November. I'm just asking for prayers in hopes I can find a way to afford everything. Thank you.

Please pray for us. We both need jobs and a place for home. I lost my job; my wife is still looking for a job as a dental assistant.

My wife is also sick, and my son, John, needs salvation. Pray for our marriage--we need lots of prayer to stay strong in the Lord. Pray that we find good jobs. We have no where to turn to.

I am requesting prayer for 9 year old Susan who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor that is malignant. At this time she is scheduled for surgery on Monday and then Chemo treatment is planned to start soon after.

My daughter has battled a terrible skin rash on her legs for well over a year now. She has been to doctors and been given many different meds. The meds have made her sick, but have never cleared up her skin. 2 weeks ago, a biopsy was performed and the results were worthless. The skin rash continues to worsen. The doctors seem to just be guessing what the problem might be....sending her on a spiral downward of sheer frustration. She is very distraught over the lack of answers. The rash is painful and extremely itchy. Please pray that my daughter can find a doctor that can help and give her real answers. Please pray for healing. Thank you.

We request prayers for our son who was just this week accepted into the Inpatient Post Traumatic Stress Disorder program through the Veterans Administration. During his many years in the Army he served around the globe including two very difficult tours of duty in Iraq. He is now finding it extremely difficult to adjust to life outside the military. He just recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior for which we are extremely excited! We ask prayers that he is able to find and accept the help he so desperately needs to enjoy a healthy happy future, Thank you.

My marriage, it makes sense for me to leave and move on with my life whereever and how it is in Gods Plan. I pray that the I will have my answer from God that it is ok to do so.

Steve is having a tracheotomy and feeding tube put in today. His pressure in his brain has gone from a 6 to a negative 2 which is worse. He is not following commands. Thank you all for your prayers. His family really appreciates that you have taken the time to pray.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3yrs this month. In December 2012, we miscarried our first ever pregnancy at around 8weeks. This morning we found out via a digital home test that we are pregnant again - around 5weeks based on online calculators. I'm bouncing between terrified (because of previous m/c) and happy. My husband, ever the optimist, is just excited. We have a doctor appointment on Monday. We don't plan to announce to others until after we have a positive blood test - or maybe after 12weeks. Please pray that this pregnancy will go well - and reach full term with a healthy baby. And that, no matter what, our relationship with Christ will continue to flourish.
