Judson University will show a pre-release screening of Ragamuffin: The True Story of Rich Mullins at its Elgin campus.

Ragamuffin is the true story of Rich Mullins, a prodigy musician raised on a farm in Indiana. Despite his struggles with alcoholism and addiction, Rich became a successful musician determined to express his beliefs in his music. More comfortable with the homeless than the wealthy, and more in love with Jesus than religion, Rich rose to Christian music fame only to walk away and live on a Navajo reservation. Dying tragically in a car accident at age 41, his story is a testament to living honestly in a culture of conformity.

Ticket prices are $10 for general admission, $8 for groups larger than 10, and $5 for Judson students, faculty, and staff.
