The 16th annual “Pedaling for Kicks” bicycle ride is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, and will benefit the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, based in Lexington, Illinois.

Last year’s ride drew more than 500 riders.

The ride, which starts and ends at East White Oak Bible Church in the Bloomington-Normal area, features 5 different routes: a 10 mile and 20 mile “Family Route”, a 25 mile, 37 mile, 44 mile and 63 mile route.  All routes are on scenic county roads that are flat to gently rolling.  Several of the routes go around Lake Bloomington and Lake Evergreen.  There are free food stops for riders and rider support vehicles to assist participants with minor repairs on the ride.  Following the ride, an optional lunch is served at the church.
