Teams of youth (3rd – 8th grade) will begin with a workshop led by ISU and museum educators. Implementing principles of the design process and science, technology, engineering, art, and math teams will construct unique muscle carts. The teams will then test their designs and race to the finish in the road course derby. Construction supplies will be provided, and prizes will be awarded to the winning team. All you have to bring is your love of learning and plenty of muscle power! If you don’t have a team of friends to join you for the fun, you can register individually and we will match you with other creators and engineers participating in the event.
